This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop a multi-cloud strategy, target-state architecture, and adoption guidelines for AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI as applicable.
• Create federated identity, Single Sign-On (SSO), and cross-cloud authorization frameworks.
• Design cross-cloud networking solutions, including transit hubs, private connectivity, and zero-trust architectures.
• Establish reusable infrastructure-as-code frameworks that abstract cloud-specific implementations.
• Define strategies for containers, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies across different providers.
• Formulate data architecture strategies for the movement, residency, and analytics of cross-cloud data.
• Propel multi-cloud observability, security monitoring, and unified policy enforcement.
• Implement FinOps practices across diverse cloud providers.
• Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity strategies that span multiple clouds.
• Collaborate with security architects to develop multi-cloud security models, Key Management Service (KMS) strategies, and key management processes.
• Advise engineering teams on cloud-agnostic versus cloud-native methodologies.
• Create architecture artifacts such as context diagrams, sequence diagrams, decision records, and reference designs.
• Engage with cloud providers and partners to assess roadmap alignment.
• Remain updated on multi-cloud platform advancements and tools, translating these into actionable recommendations and adoption strategies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• A minimum of eight years of experience in cloud architecture roles.
• Practical architecture experience across at least two leading cloud providers.
• Profound knowledge of cloud networking, identity, and security across multiple platforms.
• Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code implementations across clouds.
• Proficiency in designing federated identity and SSO solutions across cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, container technologies, and managed cloud services.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Multiple cloud certifications from various providers.
• Proven track record of spearheading multi-cloud architecture initiatives.
• Candidates must be willing to work directly as a full-time W2 employee.
• No new H1B sponsorship available; however, candidates eligible for H1B transfer are encouraged to apply.
• A technical coding assessment is a requirement.
• Preferred experience with abstraction platforms (Crossplane, Pulumi, Terraform CDK).
• Familiarity with cloud-agnostic observability platforms is preferred.
• Experience in managing large-scale cloud-to-cloud migrations is advantageous.
• Exposure to regulated industries with multi-cloud requirements is preferred.
• Public speaking or writing on multi-cloud architecture topics is a plus.
