Technology Solutions Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Provide advice, consultation, guidance, and design systems and infrastructure for the company's staff.

• Collaborate directly with leadership stakeholders at all levels to assess current and future technology needs.

• Oversee and manage the sprint-based program for prioritized development projects involving both internal systems and vendor-supplied solutions.

• Work in partnership with business analysts, project managers, colleagues from various business units, and vendors to create effective architectural solutions.

• Serve as the primary liaison with key company vendors to optimize their solutions for the organization.

• Assist in the administration and management of the Agile Sprint program, including leading the cross-functional team and tracking/reporting on sprint outcomes.

• Guide software development and data analysis/reporting efforts led by engineering technologists.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements.

• Provide consultation and guidance to Technologists regarding solution ideas, technological knowledge, and systems perspective.

• Utilize reporting and analytics tools to manage internal systems effectively.

• Engage in the creation and maintenance of company policies and participate in SOC 2 compliance activities.

• Stay informed about relevant technologies, industry trends, developments, and best practices.

• Participate in the resolution of related support tickets.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications/experience in a relevant technology field is required.

• Certifications related to job-relevant technologies are preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of technology, including database structure/design, development, ITSM support programs, agile processes, IT support systems, cybersecurity, and A.I.

• Capability to meet with business unit leaders to identify needs and create innovative solutions to business challenges.

• Proficiency in systems and design thinking.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage expectations within an agile environment.

• Self-motivated lifelong learner focused on enhancing personal skills and competencies.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

• Preferred knowledge of and/or experience in relevant technology languages such as SQL, VB, Python, and PowerShell.

• Experience with automation software and AI technology is beneficial.

• Experience in designing and developing APIs is preferred.

• Must be available to participate in video conferences and meetings.

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
