AI/ML Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of 2–3 AI and cloud engineers dedicated to rapid prototyping within AWS.

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level team members.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients.

• Create scalable services that implement AI/ML functionalities, including LLM, ML, and AI models.

• Design and develop agentic systems that plan, utilize tools, and automate business workflows.

• Construct LLM-powered applications and RAG pipelines, focusing on chunking, embedding, retrieval strategies, evaluation, and iteration.

• Work with vector databases and search technologies, including indexing, hybrid and semantic search, and relevance tuning.

• Integrate AI services with external systems via REST APIs, authentication, webhooks, and SaaS platforms.

• Execute prompt engineering, model selection, and systematic evaluation of LLM outputs.

• Develop scalable Python services and data flows for ingestion, transformation, and document preparation, including Text2SQL.

• Implement AI solutions utilizing AWS services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, and Textract.

• Grasp customer business challenges and offer technology consulting.

• Own comprehensive solutions, make critical technical decisions, and guide delivery teams.

• Define infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt or AWS CloudFormation.

• Design, create, and sustain CI/CD pipelines across integration and testing environments.

• Keep abreast of AWS innovations.

• Participate in AWS Competency and Service Delivery Program initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Several years of experience, including recent hands-on involvement in AI projects.

• Familiarity with software engineering, data engineering, or data science.

• Experience with AWS technologies such as SageMaker, Bedrock, Glue, MWAA, EMR, RDS, Aurora, S3, OpenSearch, or Elasticsearch.

• Strong expertise in Python.

• Practical experience with the GenAI ecosystem, including Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, LangChain, LlamaIndex, agent frameworks, LLM provider SDKs, or Pydantic.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Working knowledge of ETL processes, pipelines, and data modeling.

• Demonstrated experience in designing, consuming, and integrating APIs.

• Understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, tool calling, agent patterns, prompt engineering, and evaluation.

• Familiarity with AWS, including hands-on experience with at least one AI/ML or serverless service.

• Strong cloud-agnostic experience across various providers is advantageous.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

• Capability to operate independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• AWS Professional/Specialty Certification is advantageous.

• Advanced, intermediate, or beginner level of English is required in application questions.
