Technology Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Assist in enterprise technology platform initiatives, projects, and programs from the requirement phase through scoping, deployment, adoption, and post-launch stabilization.

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocations.

• Keep stakeholders updated on project status, potential risks, and key decisions.

• Facilitate cross-functional meetings with teams in Product, Software Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, and Sales.

• Record decisions, assign owners, and establish due dates.

• Oversee external implementation partners, consultants, and software vendors.

• Assist in customer product onboarding, platform migrations, and customer data migration initiatives.

• Organize testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment readiness, and stakeholder approvals.

• Aid in product launches, beta programs, pilot deployments, and feature rollouts.

• Coordinate training sessions, communications, and adoption efforts.

• Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks, escalating critical issues along with recommended solutions.

• Work closely with customers during implementations and rollouts to resolve customer-impacting issues.

• Track adoption metrics and evaluate post-launch performance.

• Gather customer feedback to inform future product enhancements.

• Maintain implementation playbooks, deployment procedures, lessons learned, and project documentation in Confluence, Jira, and Miro.

• Enhance rollout methods, automation, and processes to minimize implementation risks and onboarding challenges.

• Report directly to the Director of Enterprise Program Management as an individual contributor.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in leading technology or business transformation initiatives.

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in leading at least one enterprise software implementation from requirements gathering to post-launch stabilization.

• Experience managing projects that involve 3 or more cross-functional teams and at least one external vendor or implementation partner.

• Experience in leading at least one data migration or system integration project.

• Practical experience in planning and executing UAT, end-user training, change management, and adoption tracking.

• Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, and traditional (waterfall) delivery methodologies.

• Knowledge of SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, and cloud-based technologies.

• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence on live projects.

• Ability to lead without direct authority and achieve consensus among executives, customers, and vendors.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong critical thinking abilities and root-cause analysis skills.

• Capability to manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.

• At least 2 years of experience in shipping logistics, parcel, supply chain, or parcel optimization consulting.

• Possession of PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master, or a comparable certification.

• Experience in recovering a troubled project and bringing it back on track.

• Experience in supporting a product launch, beta program, or phased customer rollout.

• Customer-facing implementation experience with a SaaS provider or consulting firm.

• Working experience with Miro or similar collaboration tools.
