Team Lead, PV Project Management – New Energy Utility-Scale Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Overall accountability for the successful execution of utility-scale PV projects, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, quality, and safety standards.

• Provide technical and disciplinary guidance to a project management team, while actively enhancing structures and capacity.

• Proactively identify, evaluate, and manage risks at both the project and portfolio levels.

• Serve as the first escalation point for the team.

• Cultivate a solution-focused team culture in collaboration with adjacent departments.

• Ensure adherence to policies and quality standards while promoting continuous learning within the team.

• Manage stakeholders effectively, including clients, grid operators, service providers, public authorities, and internal planning departments.

• Design, implement, and deliver meaningful weekly status reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in engineering, industrial engineering, renewable energy, or a similar technical qualification, coupled with a robust commercial understanding.

• Several years of proven professional experience in the technical delivery of EPC projects within the Commercial & Industrial sector, along with extensive knowledge of rooftop PV systems.

• Proven experience in leading project teams technically and disciplinarily, combined with a passion for building new team structures.

• Strong hands-on mentality, decisive approach, and the ability to maintain clarity during dynamic, high-pressure situations.

• Confident in technical negotiations with partners, investors, and public authorities.

• Proficient in German and English, suitable for negotiation purposes.

• Residing in the Stuttgart area or Southern Germany.
