Technical Writer – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and manage technical documentation for APIs and developer portals, which includes integration guides, reference documentation, tutorials, changelogs, and FAQs.

• Design, document, and enhance partner onboarding and integration processes.

• Recognize bottlenecks and standardize procedures.

• Act as the content liaison for partners and customers, understanding their needs and frequently asked questions.

• Transform needs and queries into documentation and improvements for the portal.

• Ensure the developer portal remains current and well-structured, focusing on information architecture, taxonomy, and version control.

• Evaluate and report on content effectiveness through metrics like ticket deflection, Time to First Interaction (TtFI), and activation rates.

• Work collaboratively with Support Analysts and the Team Leader to update documentation based on actual support queries.

• Operate in a docs-as-code environment utilizing Markdown, Git, and OpenAPI/Swagger.

• Assist with initiatives that involve applying AI to documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in technical documentation or technical writing (approximately 2–4 years).

• Proficient in producing clear and instructional technical writing in Portuguese.

• Ability to read and write in technical English proficiently.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, developer portals, and the OpenAPI/Swagger specification.

• Practical experience with docs-as-code, Markdown, and version control (Git).

• Capability to engage directly with customers and partners to gather and validate content.

• Strong skills in information organization and process-oriented thinking, including mapping and designing workflows.
