Technical Writer – Early Career

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, compose, edit, and review technical information for manuals, procedures, and specifications.

• Draft, organize, input, and assemble online help resources for end users.

• Generate, compile, and present documentation packages for system/software development.

• Create narratives, logic diagrams, input and output samples, instructions for input preparation, and information for job setup.

• Utilize inputs from technical project teams, analyze system requirements, develop system design specifications, create technical procedures, manage configuration control requirements, and draft test and training specifications, along with programming notes.

• Engage in quality reviews of various documentation artifacts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is essential.

• Proficiency in desktop publishing, word processing, and online documentation software is required.

• Familiarity with industry writing standards, including grammar, sentence structure, and form.

• Experience with a range of software products is necessary.

• Capability to comprehend technical solutions and translate complex technical information into accessible language.

• Preferred experience in Medicaid.

• Preferred background in technical writing.

• Excellent communication skills are a must.

• Strong proofreading and editing capabilities are important.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

• Candidates should have reliable connectivity for remote work.

• Video cameras are required to be used during all interviews and throughout the initial week of orientation.
