Technical UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Produce top-notch UI content/assets that align with artistic vision and quality benchmarks.

• Convert UX flows and wireframes into operational in-game UI elements.

• Design UI mockups using Figma or Adobe Photoshop.

• Execute UI mockups in UE4 (UMG) utilizing Blueprints, animations, and UI materials.

• Take ownership of small UI features or collaborate on larger features from the UX phase through to UI implementation.

• Work in conjunction with UX designers, UI artists, programmers, and various other disciplines.

• Adhere to UX/UI workflows, implementation guidelines, and best practices for accessibility.

• Enhance UI based on insights from playtests, user research, and team input.

• Provide accurate estimates and adhere to production timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in UI Design or Technical UI design specifically for games.

• Proficient understanding of Unreal Engine 4/5 UMG, Blueprints, UI animations, and materials.

• Proven experience in creating UI mockups for video games.

• Familiarity with UX principles, interaction design, accessibility, and best practices in UI.

• Experience in implementing production-ready UI and collaborating effectively with programmers.

• Strong skills in problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.

• Self-driven with dependable task estimation and delivery capabilities.

• Proficient in written and spoken English communication.

• Nice to have: Technical expertise in UE4.

• Nice to have: Experience in optimizing and debugging UMG UI.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with design systems and reusable UI components.
