Product Designer – Visual Craft

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Contribute to Envato’s main application to assist creative professionals in locating, generating, and refining assets.

• Transform ideas from initial concepts into polished customer experiences.

• Design creative workflows for modifying stock video or graphics using AI, ensuring consistency across generated visuals and the sequencing of video clips.

• Simplify the discovery and usage of creative capabilities while minimizing complexity.

• Rapidly prototype ideas with Figma, code, motion, and AI-assisted tools.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to shape product direction.

• Enhance Envato’s visual language in partnership with the Product Visual Lead and other designers.

• Work alongside engineers during implementation, writing code and addressing visual and interaction details.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong visual design skills, including typography, composition, hierarchy, motion, and interaction.

• Knowledge of UX fundamentals and product design principles.

• Ability to articulate design rationale and visual decisions effectively.

• Interest in and experimentation with AI, prototyping, design-to-code, or other innovative creative tools.

• Willingness to share incomplete work and integrate feedback.

• Effective collaboration skills with engineers and product teams.

• Submit a project created using AI and another showcasing visual craftsmanship.

• Include contributions, tools utilized, and key design details in your application.

• Product, client, or independent experimental work is welcome.

• No specific years of experience as a Product Designer required; emphasis on work presented and design judgment.
