Staff Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design product experiences that simplify complex infrastructure.

• Create experiences for products utilized by developers globally.

• Oversee the UX journey from initial product concepts to refined experiences.

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to address intricate challenges.

• Develop design systems and patterns that facilitate scalable UX across bunny.net.

• Prototype, experiment, and explore utilizing AI and contemporary design tools.

• Establish user research standards and define personas to inform design decisions.

• Interact with customers and integrate their feedback into product development.

• Conduct design workshops and reviews to elucidate complex product choices.

• Enhance usability, accessibility, and overall product design quality.

• Guide and mentor designers by imparting knowledge, offering feedback, and setting a strong example.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in UX, product design, or a related field.

• Proven experience in designing cloud infrastructure and/or developer-focused products.

• Strong confidence in designing for technical users, particularly developers.

• Proficient in conducting both qualitative and quantitative user research.

• Capable of transforming technical complexity into user-friendly experiences.

• Systems thinking with experience in creating scalable design patterns.

• Ability to work strategically while managing detailed design tasks.

• Strong collaboration skills with engineers, balancing user needs and technical constraints.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design thinking to engineers and leadership.

• A keen interest in AI and modern design tools.

• Experience in building design systems, component libraries, or design tokens is advantageous.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Angular is a plus.

• Experience in designing for APIs, cloud platforms, infrastructure, security, or developer tools is beneficial.

• Experience utilizing AI for research, prototyping, or product design is a plus.

• Proven experience in mentoring designers or scaling design practices is a plus.

• Must reside in Europe, preferably within CET ±3 hours.
