Technical Trainer – Federal Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Develop and design role-specific training curricula for Kahua applications, covering areas such as Document Management, Cost Management, Project Management, Field applications, and tailored client configurations.

• Create and sustain instructor guides, participant guides, quick-reference materials, job aids, eLearning modules, and various user-support resources.

• Adapt training content to mirror client-specific workflows, terminology, configurations, and business processes.

• Deliver both virtual and in-person training sessions to field personnel, project teams, program leaders, and executive staff.

• Prepare training environments, sample projects, records, tasks, and scenarios that reflect authentic user workflows.

• Lead train-the-trainer and super-user programs.

• Offer post-go-live user support through office hours, refresher training, targeted coaching, and various adoption initiatives.

• Monitor attendance, evaluations, training completion, LMS records, user readiness, and adoption metrics.

• Assess training effectiveness, pinpoint knowledge gaps and recurring user issues, and enhance training materials and delivery methods.

• Engage in discovery, configuration, and deployment planning sessions to ascertain training requirements and impacts.

• Collaborate with implementation, application, data migration, change management, and help desk teams to synchronize training with deployment and go-live timelines.

• Maintain a well-organized, version-controlled training library in compliance with program quality and documentation standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and directly applicable experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in delivering adult or software end-user training, or 3+ years of software training experience with a recognized professional training credential such as CPTD, APTD, CPTM, or equivalent.

• Proven experience in training users on enterprise SaaS, ERP, or project management platforms, including Kahua, e-Builder, Procore, Oracle Unifier, Salesforce, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable systems.

• Strong instructional design capabilities with experience in creating role-based curricula, user guides, job aids, quick-reference materials, and eLearning content.

• Ability to convert technical system functionalities and business processes into clear, user-friendly instructions for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with the capacity to effectively lead both virtual and instructor-led training sessions.

• Outstanding written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and virtual training/collaboration tools.

• Capacity to secure and maintain a favorable federal suitability determination.

• Preferred: Direct experience with Kahua, including Kahua certifications or coursework.

• Preferred: Background in supporting federal construction or facilities programs, with knowledge of RFIs, submittals, daily reports, change management, cost controls, document management, and project closeout.

• Preferred: Familiarity with eLearning/LMS platforms such as Articulate, Camtasia, or TalentLMS.

• Preferred: PMP, CAPM, Prosci, or related certifications and knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements.
