Technical Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality technological solutions.

• Manage resource allocation by providing accurate estimations and achieving utilization targets.

• Ensure compliance with time-logging standards.

• Proactively assist engineers in overcoming obstacles and escalate technical challenges to the Head of Engineering.

• Report any ticket estimate overruns to the Project Manager and Head of Engineering.

• Maintain certification milestones and deadlines for all team members.

• Adhere to quality and security standards to avoid requirement defects.

• Support work-in-progress cycle times under 2 days.

• Ensure code reviews are finalized within 4 business hours.

• Guarantee QA is completed within a 2-day timeframe.

• Delegate tasks utilizing the 5 Levels of Leadership methodology.

• Apply best practices from Manager Tools to enhance retention.

• Engage in the hiring process using the WHO method.

• Recruit and maintain engineering talent, aiming for over 90% A-player acquisition and high retention rates.

• Over 8 years of experience in a Tech Leader role.

• Proven track record of leading a team of software engineers.

• Experience in technical estimation and resource allocation.

• Ability to create high-quality software with no major defects or bugs released.

• Familiarity with the WHO method for hiring and talent acquisition.

• Knowledge of Manager Tools best practices for team retention.

• Capability to implement delegation according to the 5 Levels of Leadership.

• Commitment to continuous role certification and professional growth.

• Ability to maintain rapid communication and achieve strict cycle-time targets.

• Must reside in Brazil.
