Technical Support Specialist / Engineer – Electrical Components, Converter Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical liaison for service technicians, customers, and contract partners within the realm of converter technology.

• Investigate and resolve converter issues, especially concerning Senvion®, Nordex®, Fuhrländer®, and GE® wind turbines, escalated to Level 2 Support via remote monitoring.

• Offer remote technical assistance to service teams during the repair and maintenance of wind turbines.

• Develop work instructions, maintenance documentation, and RAMS documentation.

• Generate and assess work orders, including the associated technical documentation.

• Oversee wind turbine performance and pinpoint areas for improvement.

• Assist in the technical preparation of quotes for repairs and retrofits in the area of converter technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an electrician or mechatronics technician (m/f/d), and/or technician-level training, and/or a completed degree in engineering.

• Multiple years of experience with converters, particularly on Senvion®, Nordex®, Fuhrländer®, and GE® wind turbines.

• Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken.

• Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications.

• Independent, organized, and results-driven work approach.

• Strong collaborative skills.

• Ability to work at heights and maintain good physical fitness.

• Class B driving license.

• Willingness to travel occasionally and a passion for travel-related assignments.
