SAP Enterprise Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture for a significant federal SAP transformation aimed at modernizing and maintaining the student information system.

• Establish the target architecture and outline a transition roadmap.

• Direct technical decisions and ensure alignment of delivery with mission objectives and operational needs.

• Evaluate the current SAP landscape, business workflows, interfaces, data streams, and technical dependencies.

• Develop target architectures and phased modernization plans that encompass applications, data, integration, infrastructure, and security.

• Lead solution design efforts across SAP development, Fiori, SLcM, HANA, analytics, and interconnected systems.

• Set architecture standards, conduct design reviews, document decisions, and address technical dependencies among delivery teams.

• Analyze technology alternatives and articulate the implications for cost, performance, availability, security, and long-term support.

• Oversee migration, integration testing, deployment, and sustainment planning to ensure data integrity and service continuity.

• Provide guidance to client leaders, mentor technical personnel, and keep architecture documentation and technical risk assessments updated.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field.

• A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience, including at least five years as an SAP Enterprise Architect.

• Experience in supporting federal government initiatives.

• Proven track record in developing SAP enterprise architectures, modernization strategies, integration plans, and technical standards.

• Exceptional executive communication skills, technical leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams.

• Preferred experience with SAP Student Lifecycle Management (SLcM), student information systems, and federal Department of Work programs.

• Eligibility for Secret Clearance.
