This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Implement and oversee the central computer center systems, databases, network software, and hardware for the Enterprise.
• Ensure the accessibility of system, database, and network resources that support medical, educational, and business application systems.
• Provide support for backend infrastructure related to Laboratory systems, enterprise-class storage, and end-user caregivers.
• Address vulnerabilities and execute application upgrades.
• Assist with patching and automation processes using Tanium.
• Maintain online service level agreements to guarantee productivity and dependable system performance.
• Conduct strategic and tactical planning.
• Execute analysis, evaluation, and justification for additional database, system, and network software.
• Cultivate relationships with external organizations.
• Foster working relationships with vendors of database, system, and network software and hardware.
• Ensure database, system, and network software packages are compatible, stable, and supportable.
• Manage relationships with other CCF organizations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related technology field.
• Relevant experience may compensate for the degree requirement.
• Recognize the significance of customer service and utilize available resources effectively to support ITD and the Enterprise.
• Two years of related experience in central data processing.
• Proficiency in advanced systems programming processes and system design.
• Understanding of applications programming and design, communication concepts, and database administration strategies.
• Experience with Infrastructure-Server.
• Scripting experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with VMware or other hypervisor applications is preferred.
• Experience with enterprise-class storage is preferred.
• Residency in Northeast Ohio is required.
• Compliance with the annual influenza vaccination program or obtaining an approved exemption is necessary.
• Completion of controlled-substance testing is mandatory following an employment offer.
• Opportunity for remote work from Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Rotating 24/7 on-call coverage approximately every six weeks.
• Participation in the annual influenza vaccination program or obtaining an approved exemption.
