Technical Solutions Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform technical trade analyses and software assessments to evaluate architectural compatibility, security, and cost-effectiveness.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to establish technical requirements and identify suitable SaaS solutions.

• Work alongside Legal, InfoSec, and Procurement teams on technical due diligence, vendor onboarding processes, and SLA evaluations.

• Partner with IT and business leaders for software configuration, tenant setup, and IT integration.

• Manage daily license oversight, budget renewal requirements, incurred costs at the team level, and software costs per new user.

• Monitor seat utilization and automate license reclamation to enhance software expenditure efficiency.

• Act as the main technical liaison for external SaaS vendors, overseeing escalations and contract renewals.

• Conduct regular audits to identify shadow IT, eliminate redundant tools, and ensure security compliance.

• Improve the internal IT intake process to decrease lead times for software evaluation and deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in IT/IS roles concentrating on software architecture, enterprise tool assessment, SaaS management, or IT operations.

• Demonstrated success in leading technical trade studies, vendor evaluations, and total cost of ownership/return on investment analysis for software purchases.

• Extensive experience collaborating with InfoSec, Legal, and Procurement on technical due diligence, security assessments (SOC 2, ISO), and contract negotiations.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Access to export-controlled information requires compliance with applicable U.S. Government export regulations: U.S. person status, eligibility without export authorization, or eligibility and reasonable likelihood of obtaining necessary export authorization.
