Technical Solutions Consultant

📋 Description

• Design and develop technical architectures for MES/MOM solutions, Industrial DataOps platforms (UNS), and initiatives related to digital transformation.

• Convert functional requirements into scalable and maintainable technical designs.

• Stay informed about client business drivers, operational challenges, and regulatory requirements.

• Work collaboratively with Functional Consultants throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Lead hands-on implementation efforts utilizing Ignition, Sepasoft MES modules, MQTT brokers, and other relevant technologies.

• Configure and create MES modules, including production tracking, OEE, quality, traceability, scheduling, inventory management, and maintenance.

• Design and establish Unified Namespace architectures, encompassing ISA-95 data models, MQTT topic structures, and data pipelines.

• Integrate MES/MOM solutions with ERP, SCADA, PLCs, historians, QMS, LIMS, and analytics platforms.

• Execute scripting and development tasks using Python and SQL.

• Oversee unit and integration testing; assist with user acceptance testing.

• Create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flows, configuration specifications, and deployment procedures.

• Support commissioning, deployment, and go-live activities.

• Manage technical projects up to $100K with supervision.

• Collaborate with Grantek India offshore teams and extended workforce partners.

• Mentor junior technical consultants and engage in code reviews.

• Contribute to the development of technical accelerators, templates, and reusable components.

• Assist in pre-sales technical activities, demonstrations, feasibility evaluations, and architecture reviews.

• Engage in proposal development, technical estimation, and solution definition.

• Identify additional opportunities within current client engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in industrial automation, MES/MOM, or manufacturing IT.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Ignition and/or Sepasoft.

• Experience in implementing various MES functional modules.

• Integration experience with both enterprise and shop-floor systems.

• Strong capabilities in SQL and Python scripting.

• Understanding of ISA-95 and manufacturing data standards.

• Experience in data modeling and performance optimization.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Self-directed with a strong focus on execution discipline.

• Effective communicator with technical and functional stakeholders.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Strong time management and prioritization abilities.

• Willingness to mentor junior team members.
