Technical Solutions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with clients in the higher education sector to identify and resolve technical issues within their systems.

• Develop and modify Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code to address client-related challenges.

• Implement necessary fixes in MCSL's development environment as required.

• Provide tailored development solutions for clients as needed.

• Clearly articulate technical issues, solutions, and subsequent steps to client stakeholders.

• Partner closely with the Technical Solutions lead, assuming greater ownership of client-related tasks.

• Acquire knowledge of MCSL's broader technology stack, including ASP.NET, Visual Studio, and JavaScript, as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of practical development experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including coding modifications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with clients.

• Availability to work from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

• Experience with Ellucian Banner is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with ASP.NET, Visual Studio, or JavaScript is a plus.

• Background in higher education or experience with university and college clients is a valued asset.

• A diverse technical background and a history of swiftly learning new programming languages and tools is a plus.
