📋 Description

• Propel new customer acquisition and account expansion for Linode as a pre-sales technical specialist in the public cloud sector.

• Partner with the sales team to address technical components of the sales process.

• Foster customer success and enhance Linode usage as a member of the integrated account team.

• Spearhead initiatives for solution and product innovation.

• Promote APJ use cases and technologies.

• Shape the product roadmap in collaboration with product managers.

• Establish technical thought leadership in the domains of cloud computing and Linode.

• Contribute to the overall growth of Akamai's business in the APJ region.

• Assist customers in navigating both strategic and technical dimensions of cloud transformation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of pertinent experience in a customer-facing technical position within a cloud or hosting provider.

• Proven success in architecting intricate IaaS solutions for clients.

• Possession of professional architect-level certifications from AWS or GCP.

• Practical expertise in three or more areas: Kubernetes, cloud networking, databases, storage, AI & GPU, IaC/CI/CD tooling, or gaming/media streaming tech stacks.

• Familiarity and hands-on experience with open-source technologies such as Apache Web Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, and Terraform.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation abilities, including the capacity to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in delivering cloud professional services is preferred.
