Technical Solution Manager – Agile, SDLC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Oversee the orchestration of international software project deliveries that involve multiple development squads spread across four continents.

• Ensure alignment between Product and Tech teams at every stage of the software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to final release.

• Manage dependencies, reduce bottlenecks, and promote operational excellence on a large scale.

• Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Represent engineering in customer-facing situations and convert intricate technical realities into strategic and commercially viable decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong technical foundation with a comprehensive understanding of software architecture and architectural patterns.

• Proven track record in delivery management within Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or scaled Agile frameworks).

• In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) across all phases, including planning, development, QA, release, and production.

• Demonstrated capability to coordinate cross-functional, multi-team workflows across various geographical locations.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills — adept at negotiating scope with product owners and business stakeholders while considering technical constraints.

• Experience in supporting and mentoring squad leads or engineering team leads to uphold high standards of competency and delivery quality.

• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities, combined with a creative, solutions-focused mindset.

• Proficient in English (both written and spoken) — this is a requirement, as it is the primary working language across all global teams.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.

• Must reside in Europe (EU or European timezone is essential).
