This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Convert business outcomes and constraints into capability impacts, current state assessments, target state architectures, transition roadmaps, and practical delivery increments.
• Develop comprehensive solutions across websites, mobile applications, content management, CRM and campaign platforms, customer data and identity, consent and preferences, journey orchestration, messaging channels, personalization, recommendations, analytics, and enterprise systems.
• Define domain, data, event, and API boundaries that support reusable customer profiles, segmentation, decision-making, activation, attribution, and measurement while ensuring privacy and consent are protected.
• Create and maintain architectural artifacts, including capability and context views, logical and component architectures, runtime/deployment views, integration and data flows, sequence diagrams, architecture decision records, and option assessments.
• Specify measurable non-functional requirements that align with business criticality and solution risk.
• Identify and communicate architectural decisions that impact scalability, security, resilience, customer experience, cost, maintainability, and future flexibility.
• Lead design discussions and reviews, address cross-team architectural inquiries, and establish engineering guidelines.
• Assess platforms, vendor capabilities, integration strategies, and options for buying versus building solutions.
• Share reusable patterns, architectural decisions, lessons learned, and recommendations with the wider architecture community.
• Mentor engineers, technical leads, and other architects.
• Guide initiatives from vague business objectives through target state definition, solution design, delivery, production readiness, and post-production insights.
• Take ownership of solution architecture for scalable, secure, resilient, and measurable customer engagement capabilities.
• Over 5 years of experience in designing and delivering enterprise digital, data, or customer-facing technology solutions.
• More than 3 years of experience leading solution architecture or equivalent ownership of architectural decisions.
• Proven ability to navigate an ambiguous business objective from architecture design to production delivery.
• Experience in production cloud architecture with AWS.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and data architecture fundamentals.
• Familiarity with APIs, asynchronous messaging, event streaming, idempotency, retry and replay mechanisms, data modeling, identity, privacy and consent controls, and observability.
• Capability to identify and define significant non-functional requirements.
• Experience in evaluating various solution approaches and articulating trade-offs, risks, consequences, and justifications.
• Proficient in creating clear architectural artifacts and conveying technical decisions to business, product, architecture, and engineering stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries and influence technical decisions.
