Technical Service Specialist – Core Labs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Deliver field service support and technical troubleshooting for designated instruments.

• Organize and execute planned maintenance tasks.

• Utilize Abbott remote diagnostics tools to provide proactive service.

• Offer continuous training and guidance to customers.

• Carry out instrument upgrades and manage technical service bulletins (TSBs).

• Serve as a reliable partner and technical consultant to clients.

• Facilitate first-level assay troubleshooting and implement new assays.

• Provide first-level support for laboratory middleware (AMS).

• Enhance laboratory workflow by modifying tracking software (TSM & TWM) as necessary.

• Collaborate with customers to optimize instrument performance and testing capabilities.

• Conduct planned maintenance, hardware and software upgrades, first-line service backups, installations, and deinstallations.

• Success is evaluated based on customer satisfaction scores (NPS).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Bachelor’s or Engineering degree in medical, electrical, mechanical, or medical technology is preferred.

• Demonstrated success in a similar role, supported by management and customer references.

• Proven ability to engage effectively with customers, particularly laboratory staff.

• Technical proficiency related to the assigned product line.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Capability to identify and resolve issues proactively.

• Strong experience with analytical tools and software.

• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
