Technical Service Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Deliver sales and technical assistance to customers.

• Serve clients within the designated region.

• Assist the regional business manager in crafting and executing company action plans.

• Offer sales support, technical assistance, and customer service.

• Perform annual business planning for the designated region.

• Set sales, service, and support objectives for assigned regional accounts.

• Formulate plans and allocate resources to apply sales and technical support strategies.

• Identify and monitor performance metrics and outcomes for assigned accounts.

• Collaborate with technical specialists to address customer requirements.

• Build relationships with key decision-makers to enhance sales and technical support opportunities.

• Conduct regular on-site customer visits and maintain up-to-date customer visit reports.

• Oversee individual budget, including strategically agreed-upon entertainment expenses.

• Execute Aviagen's technical management recommendations and best practices to optimize the genetic potential of Aviagen products.

• Represent Aviagen at selected industry associations, seminars, events, and functions.

• Engage in significant travel within the assigned territory.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in poultry production.

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree.

• Knowledge of poultry technology and contemporary best management practices in Breeder Production, Broiler Production, Ventilation, and Processing.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including leadership, personal accountability, time management, conflict resolution, and effective organizational abilities.

• Capacity to present information to any level of corporate management.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint, written and oral communication, negotiation, meeting facilitation, and social interaction.

• Computer skills, including proficiency with email, spreadsheets, database usage, formal letter writing, and economic modeling.

• Must reside within the designated territory.

• Possess a vehicle that meets company program standards.

• Willingness to travel extensively as required.
