Technical Service Engineer, North America

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Conduct routine maintenance on EmbryoScope TimeLapse and Culture Systems

• Install capital equipment at client locations in accordance with specifications

• Diagnose and repair Vitrolife Group capital equipment both remotely and on-site

• Deliver prompt and professional technical support to customers and internal teams

• Record service activities meticulously and keep accurate documentation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle complex technical challenges

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication

• Travel frequently, with at least 80% travel required for installations, service calls, and training

• Participate in an on-call rotation during nights and weekends with fellow service team members

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of an associate degree in a technical or engineering discipline

• 1–2 years of experience in a technical or engineering position

• Practical experience with hardware assembly and software configuration

• Knowledge of IT troubleshooting, networking, and system integration

• Strong grasp of electromechanical systems, including pneumatics

• Advanced PC skills: hardware assembly, software installation, and networking

• Proficient in identifying and resolving technical issues related to IT and lab equipment

• Professional demeanor and communication skills in customer-facing roles

• Organized, logical, and detail-oriented when solving problems

• Ability to adhere to protocols and seek clarifications when necessary

• Comfortable working independently and managing extensive travel commitments

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada

• Successful completion of a background check is required
