This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with builders, dealers, distributors, architects, developers, general contractors, and other essential partners in the industry.
• Provide support for a variety of sales channels including direct retail, distribution, dealer networks, and turnkey building solutions.
• Operate within a brand-neutral framework, assisting with multiple product lines and market access routes.
• Educate customers on technology platforms, product specifics, and processes throughout the sales and construction phases.
• Manage video training and product manuals to tackle onsite challenges and problems.
• Aid customers in comprehending metal building systems, product applications, and installation methods.
• Identify and foster new business opportunities across various customer segments and markets.
• Work collaboratively with customer service, operations, engineering, and sales leadership to ensure customer and project success.
• Support customers with systems, processes, project coordination, and product selection.
• Promote business development initiatives aimed at increasing the adoption of light gauge steel building solutions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues while managing customer expectations effectively.
• Establish customer credibility through effective communication, product expertise, responsiveness, and relationship management.
• Conduct site visits for key first-time customers and installers to verify inventory management, structural compliance, and proper installation practices.
• Act as a liaison between sales and customers for design assistance, software troubleshooting, and engineering-related order modifications.
• Assist sales during the sales process and technical functions that involve software updates and enhancements.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites or trade shows for onsite support.
• Bachelor’s degree with three years of equivalent experience in the Construction Industry.
• Two years of experience in steel building design and/or erection.
• Proven ability to develop a thorough understanding of customer and market needs.
• Self-motivated with the capability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and work autonomously.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, CRM, and other ERP order management software.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to occasionally lift product samples, literature, or training materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
• A proactive team player with a customer-focused mindset.
