This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Establish and nurture relationships with builders, dealers, distributors, architects, developers, general contractors, and other essential industry partners.
• Provide support across various sales channels, including direct retail, distribution, dealer networks, and turnkey building providers.
• Operate within a brand-agnostic framework, facilitating multiple product lines and market routes.
• Educate customers on technology platforms, product specifications, and processes throughout the sales and construction phases.
• Supervise video training sessions and product manuals to address onsite challenges and concerns.
• Assist customers in comprehending metal building systems, product uses, and installation methods.
• Identify and cultivate new business prospects across diverse customer segments and markets.
• Collaborate with customer service, operations, engineering, and sales leadership to ensure customer and project success.
• Aid customers with systems, processes, project coordination, and product selection.
• Support business development initiatives to enhance the adoption of light gauge steel building solutions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, resolve issues, and effectively manage customer expectations.
• Establish customer credibility through effective communication, product knowledge, responsiveness, and relationship management.
• Conduct site visits for key first-time customers and installers to validate inventory management, structural compliance, and installation practices.
• Act as a liaison between sales and customers for design assistance, software troubleshooting, and engineering-related order modifications.
• Travel to customer locations or trade shows for onsite support as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree with three years of equivalent experience in the construction industry.
• A minimum of two years of experience in steel building design and/or erection.
• Proven ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer and market requirements.
• Strong capability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work independently.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, CRM, and other ERP order software.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to occasionally lift product samples, literature, or training materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
• A proactive team player with a customer-centric approach.
