This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Establish and nurture relationships with builders, dealers, distributors, architects, developers, general contractors, and other essential industry partners.
β’ Support various sales channels, including direct retail, distribution, dealer networks, and turnkey building providers.
β’ Operate within a brand-neutral environment, assisting multiple product lines and market pathways.
β’ Provide training to customers on technology platforms, product specifics, and processes throughout the sales and construction phases.
β’ Manage video training modules and product manuals to resolve onsite challenges and issues.
β’ Aid customers in understanding metal building systems, product applications, and installation methods.
β’ Identify and cultivate new business prospects across diverse customer segments and markets.
β’ Collaborate with customer service, operations, engineering, and sales leadership to ensure customer and project success.
β’ Assist clients with systems, processes, project coordination, and product selection.
β’ Promote business development initiatives that enhance the adoption of light gauge steel building solutions.
β’ Deliver exceptional customer service, resolve issues, and manage customer expectations effectively.
β’ Build customer trust through effective communication, product knowledge, responsiveness, and relationship management.
β’ Conduct site visits for first-time customers and installers to validate inventory management, structural compliance, and proper installation practices.
β’ Occasionally travel to customer locations or trade shows for onsite support.
β’ Bachelor's degree with three years of equivalent experience in the construction industry.
β’ Two years of experience in steel building design and/or erection.
β’ Proven ability to develop a thorough understanding of customer and market needs.
β’ Self-motivated with the capability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and work independently.
β’ Proficient in MS Office Suite, CRM systems, and other ERP order software.
β’ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
β’ Strong organizational and time management abilities.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
β’ Occasional lifting of product samples, literature, or training materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
β’ Proactive team player with a customer-centric approach.
β’ Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
