Technical Sales Consultant, Rheology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Identify and cultivate new client accounts

• Efficiently oversee existing client relationships

• Deliver presentations to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians

• Assess and qualify business opportunities

• Create and develop proposals

• Finalize sales and close deals

• Travel for meetings, demonstrations, and installations

• Foster business development in the field of rheology across the Central and Northern California region

• Report directly to the West Region Sales Director based in Torrance, California

• Market and provide support for Anton Paar's high-precision measuring instruments that evaluate physical, chemical, mechanical, and structural properties

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in technical sales; sales experience with analytical instruments is highly preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

• Capability to work autonomously

• Strong dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction

• Previous experience in Rheology is advantageous

• A bachelor's degree in a natural science or engineering is preferred

• Possession of a valid driver's license and passport

• Willingness to travel up to 50–60%, including overnight stays

• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening
