This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of the Data Archiving workstream.
• Supervise a small team of Business Analysts.
• Evaluate the legacy data landscape and establish the scope and requirements for an effective archive solution.
• Collaborate with internal Data Engineering teams and external suppliers to secure copies of archived data and ensure their integration into the strategic archive.
• Manage access for business users to archived data.
• Coordinate project dependencies, risks, issues, milestones, and delivery plans across various technical teams.
• Assist in the development and approval of the business case and funding for the archiving project.
• Provide project updates and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
• Support a significant data transformation and migration workstream.
• Oversee secondary data loads into related systems and manage downstream data flows and dependencies.
• Align migration activities and schedules with technical delivery teams and third-party vendors.
• Facilitate the involvement of technical teams in migration testing, rehearsals, and delivery tasks.
• Identify and manage technical dependencies, risks, and issues that affect migration delivery.
• Ensure effective communication and alignment among technical, business, and supplier stakeholders.
• 5–6 years of experience in Technical Project Management or a comparable delivery-oriented role.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering data-centric projects or programs.
• Strong knowledge of data migration, data archiving, data delivery, or data transformation initiatives.
• Experience in coordinating multiple technical teams and third-party suppliers.
• Background in working with Data Engineering teams and understanding technical data delivery methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the capability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and steering committees.
• Proven experience in managing project risks, dependencies, issues, timelines, and delivery milestones.
• Strong organizational and coordination abilities, capable of managing multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
• Experience in supporting business cases, funding discussions, and strategic project decisions.
• Comfortable navigating complex transformation environments with numerous technical dependencies.
• Previous experience in delivering data archiving solutions (desirable).
• Experience in large-scale data migrations or transformation programs (desirable).
• Experience in financial services, wealth management, banking, or another highly regulated field (desirable).
• Experience in coordinating migration testing, rehearsals, and downstream system activities (desirable).
• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms and strategic archive solutions (desirable).
