Project Manager, Digital Health Solutions – Lab Informatics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of digital health solutions and laboratory informatics projects from the planning phase to execution.

• Ensure project delivery aligns with scope, timelines, and business goals.

• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.

• Coordinate efforts between sales, service, delivery, and implementation teams.

• Collaborate with customer IT and laboratory stakeholders to facilitate LIS integrations and connectivity efforts.

• Work together on implementations involving laboratory information systems such as EPIC Beaker, Cerner, Meditech, Sunquest, Soft, and similar platforms.

• Assist in the deployment of diagnostic instruments, laboratory automation solutions, middleware applications, and digital health technologies.

• Create comprehensive project plans, timelines, resource strategies, risk assessments, and contingency plans.

• Manage project scope, issues, risks, and requests for changes.

• Ensure prompt resolution of implementation challenges.

• Maintain precise project documentation and status updates within enterprise project management systems.

• Facilitate effective alignment between customer stakeholders and internal teams through regular operating reviews and communications.

• Track project progress against customer commitments, revenue forecasts, and implementation milestones.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout the project.

• Collaborate with third-party vendors and cross-functional teams to address technical and operational issues.

• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects and overall customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in project leadership roles.

• At least 3 years of experience in IT-related positions or supporting IT-centric projects.

• Proven experience in managing project plans, timelines, resources, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.

• Demonstrated ability to implement software, hardware, digital health, or healthcare technology solutions.

• Must reside in a metropolitan US area near an international airport.

• Preferred: Over 5 years of project management experience in software, hardware, digital health, laboratory informatics, or healthcare technology implementations.

• Preferred: Extensive familiarity with LIS platforms such as EPIC Beaker, Cerner, Meditech, Sunquest, Soft, or similar laboratory information systems.

• Preferred: Strong grasp of laboratory middleware, interface connectivity, and laboratory automation workflows.

• Preferred: Experience in implementing laboratory diagnostic instrumentation and managing related client-facing projects.

• Preferred: More than 3 years of project management experience leading large-scale LIS implementation projects.

• Preferred: Understanding of diagnostic industry regulations, compliance standards, and laboratory quality assurance protocols.

• Preferred: Knowledge of emerging trends in laboratory informatics and digital health solutions.

• Preferred: Previous experience supporting digital products in sales, marketing, service, or customer support roles.

• Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
