This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
• Plan, develop, and oversee multiple projects across Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing portfolios.
• Lead project teams of various sizes and complexities, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and high quality standards.
• Articulate project objectives that are in line with organizational, sponsor, and portfolio strategic goals.
• Inspire and guide project teams while aligning milestones, objectives, and goals with customer needs and stakeholder feedback.
• Organize the collection of business requirements, documentation, and stakeholder approvals.
• Transform requirements into prioritized tasks for team members engaged in the project.
• Assess project schedules and coordinate the necessary resources.
• Ensure stakeholder agreement on project scope and associated costs.
• Balance costs, schedules, timeframes, and project specifications effectively.
• Propel tasks to completion while monitoring progress against schedule and budget.
• Conduct project cost analysis, including expenses related to travel, training, and resource allocation.
• Identify cost-saving solutions through the optimization of processes and systems.
• Define and oversee resource capacity and time tracking.
• Recognize problem areas and implement alternative solutions.
• Manage risks, conflicts, issues, and escalations associated with the project.
• Handle change-control processes for scope, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Provide updates to stakeholders regarding project status, variances, issues, risks, and corrective measures.
• Facilitate effective project communications for a variety of audiences.
• Report on project metrics and manage KPIs within the constraints of scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Coordinate project-related RFIs/RFPs with third-party vendors and internal IT procurement.
• Maintain effective relationships and communication with service providers.
• Review and approve payment requests and change orders.
• Recommend, prepare, and conduct training related to implementation.
• Support coaching and development within the Project Management community.
• Share best practices across the PMO and the organization.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by proactively addressing and resolving concerns swiftly and efficiently.
• Adhere to company security policy procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• 5–8 years of progressively responsible experience in actively managing medium-sized and/or complex-scope projects with intricate matrixed teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or its equivalent is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in a manufacturing or shop floor environment.
• Familiarity with product design and manufacturing execution systems.
• Experience with project management software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Project.
• Ability to influence and motivate teams without direct authority.
• Advanced interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, innovative, and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-sensitive challenges.
• Collaborative decision-making skills and the ability to engage with all levels of management and stakeholders.
