Federal IT Project Manager, Microsoft 365, SharePoint

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily management of the contract

• Act as the main point of contact with IRS technical and contract administration representatives

• Plan, lead, coordinate, and supervise project execution across various technical workstreams

• Manage timelines, workloads, priorities, deliverables, and project status reporting

• Collaborate with the COR and Program Manager to address priorities, challenges, risks, and resource requirements

• Oversee project operations and ensure compliance with established work standards and procedures

• Handle the financial and administrative elements of the project

• Provide necessary project updates, including AWARE or other specified reporting

• Coordinate the efforts of technical staff to ensure alignment with IRS requirements and customer expectations

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status with a minimum of three consecutive years of U.S. residency from the date of legal entry as an LPR

• Must be qualified to obtain and maintain IRS staff-like access

• Must successfully pass the required Moderate Risk background investigation and security screening process

• Must complete applicable IRS personnel-security requirements, including fingerprinting, security training, and related screening processes

• Proven professional experience supporting U.S. Federal Government programs or federal government clients

• Demonstrated experience in managing technical projects and/or contracts

• Strong skills in project planning, organization, communication, and stakeholder management

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, schedules, and deliverables

• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills

• Experience collaborating with technical teams and government or enterprise clients is highly relevant

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 products and associated collaboration technologies is preferred
