This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Provide technical expertise and systems engineering leadership for intricate enterprise systems implementations.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, verification, and support of systems.
• Act as the technical representative for the team in discussions with project managers, various functions, executive leadership, and key suppliers.
• Create and present the comprehensive technical solution for products or systems.
• Serve as the decision-making authority between the Chief Digital Architect and the IT technology team.
• Identify and relay technical risks and opportunities.
• Assume the role of Project Engineering Manager, responsible for solution design, technical performance, budget, and schedule.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager, Chief Digital Architect team, functional staff, business areas, and suppliers.
• Act as the primary technical contact for the project.
• Support the development of essential skills and resources.
• Ensure traceability of requirements, robust designs, test plans, and data migration activities.
• Facilitate decision-making on complex technical and business processes.
• Develop and uphold technical performance metrics.
• Implement processes suited to the size and complexity of the project.
• Guarantee the fulfillment of work goals, performance standards, budgets, and staffing plans.
• Enhance processes and skills that support programs.
• Monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure that IT program proposals are feasible and aligned with enterprise business requirements.
• Collaborate across organizational boundaries to address issues and ensure successful delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 12 years of work experience, including relevant technical leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge in systems engineering, cloud technologies, networking, and general IT.
• Capability to establish a vision and execute action plans to achieve it.
• Demonstrated ability to share and transfer technology across organizational lines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others.
• Strong skills in leadership, teamwork, facilitation, negotiation, consulting, stakeholder management, and business development.
• Ability to weigh long-term and short-term implications of decisions against organizational goals.
• Business acumen with the ability to communicate effectively in business terminology.
• Proficiency in systems thinking and design thinking methodologies.
• Preferred certifications in Cloud (Azure, AWS).
• Preferred certifications in Agile and/or ITIL.
