This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Deliver technical project and program management for significant, cross-functional Enterprise Security initiatives.
• Oversee multiple projects and communicate progress on scheduled execution.
• Provide operational assistance to engineering leaders to ensure timely project and initiative delivery.
• Define and implement cross-functional projects on schedule in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Report on the status of enterprise security and compliance efforts.
• Aid in the planning and execution of roadmaps, releases, and work backlogs.
• Support security audits to mitigate risk and comply with regulatory frameworks.
• Enhance measurable KPIs for the Security team and associated processes.
• Integrate AI technologies and methodologies to scale processes and improve visibility.
• Develop and contribute to a community of practice for program management.
• Advocate for and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as the organization expands globally and opens new offices.
• 1-3 years of experience in Project or Program Management within a dynamic, technical environment.
• Proven ability to manage priorities across various teams, establish processes, and coordinate tight timelines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to convey technical or analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong sense of ownership, collaboration, curiosity, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Quick learner with the ability to navigate uncertainty.
• Self-motivated individual with a proven history of utilizing data and technology to enhance processes and drive significant decisions.
• Familiarity with AI tools and methodologies to boost workflow and team-process efficiency.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Proficient in using JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, and other reporting platforms.
• Background in Information Security and/or Compliance programs.
• Experience in strategic planning and roadmap development.
• Passionate about data and optimizing efficiencies.
• Ability to learn and implement new technologies, including AI.
• Must possess and maintain the legal right to work in the United States and the designated work location.
