Technical Program Manager, Data Product Delivery Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the seamless delivery of three production data products in collaboration with Peregrine and its delivery partners for a federal agency.

• Develop and uphold a comprehensive plan that includes a backlog, calendar, risk register, decision log, and definition of done.

• Achieve monthly milestones and produce formal deliverables, ensuring acceptance evidence is ready prior to submission.

• Implement an agile rhythm that integrates daily tasks, biweekly demonstrations, weekly management meetings, and monthly reports for the government.

• Address and resolve access, data, architecture, partner, staffing, and acceptance dependencies promptly.

• Generate clear status updates, risks, decisions, and escalations.

• Oversee performance transparently across all personnel, including partner resources and replacements.

• Collaborate with developers, engineers, data scientists, architects, and strategists throughout the strategy and implementation phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years in technical delivery leadership, with at least three programs focused on enterprise data, analytics, cloud, or artificial intelligence (AI).

• Proficient understanding of data engineering, cloud platforms, analytics, testing, and model delivery.

• Experience in managing federal clients, subcontractors, deliverables, acceptance processes, risk management, reporting, and security-dependent onboarding.

• Practical experience in agile leadership, including backlog management, sprint planning, demonstrations, retrospectives, and implementing corrective actions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be a United States citizen; dual citizenship and green card holders are not eligible due to contract stipulations.

• Capability to meet the necessary suitability, security, and access requirements.

• Preferred: Experience with a federal system accredited at Impact Level 5 (IL-5) or above.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Azure Databricks, Microsoft Power BI, ServiceNow, or experience with federal financial and audit data.

• Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master, product management, or equivalent delivery credentials backed by tangible project outcomes.

• Preferred: Experience with firm fixed-price delivery and acceptance-based invoicing.
