Technical Program Manager 6 – Infrastructure, AI

📋 Description

• Lead impactful, cross-functional technical initiatives within Netflix’s Infrastructure and Security Organization.

• Collaborate with leaders, engineers, project managers, and practitioners to discover and define new technical challenges.

• Transform ambiguous issues into structured technical execution plans, complete with milestones, ownership, and criteria for success.

• Oversee execution across intricate, multi-team programs, monitoring progress, managing dependencies, resolving issues, and ensuring delivery outcomes from start to finish.

• Influence organization-wide investment strategies, resource allocation, and technical roadmaps.

• Report on progress, risks, and decisions to technical leadership and stakeholders.

• Utilize insights from program execution to shape platform evolution, architectural direction, and operational practices.

• Develop AI infrastructure platforms across AI Platform, Developer Platform-GenAI, or Data Platform initiatives.

• Promote adoption, scalability, modernization, reliability, security, and cost management for AI and infrastructure platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience leading large-scale technical initiatives in infrastructure, internal platforms, or distributed systems, with significant time spent managing programs that involve organizational scope and executive stakeholders.

• Proven understanding of the GenAI technology stack and experience in driving complex GenAI initiatives across the organization.

• Demonstrated success in building partnerships with cross-functional teams, implementing large-scale technical strategies, discussing technical methodologies, and creating sustainable solutions alongside engineers.

• Established ability to convert undefined technical challenges into actionable programs.

• Proven capacity to identify solution gaps and evaluate product versus technology trade-offs.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical constraints, trade-offs, and business implications to varied audiences.

• Knowledge of challenges faced in high-scale distributed systems, architectures, and data layers.

• Comprehensive understanding and perspective within relevant technical domains.

• Strong systems thinking and capability to link infrastructure capabilities to business outcomes.
