This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main technical liaison for designated clients within a portfolio of roughly 250–350 MW of distributed solar assets
• Evaluate service visit reports prior to client presentations and engage in weekly check-in calls with clients
• Deliver immediate technical guidance as needed
• Foster strong relationships with clients, field service partners, internal teams, and asset stakeholders
• Investigate issues using site monitoring platforms and initiate actions to enhance asset performance
• Create, manage, and supervise tickets for both planned and unplanned service tasks
• Coordinate and oversee service activities with field service partners
• Assist onsite service technicians during service operations and checkout calls
• Collaborate with external engineering firms on retrofits, repowering, and redesigns
• Manage the technical facets of the Commercial BESS program, encompassing sales support, pricing proposals, scope development, contract review, and operational execution
• Contribute to the development of Omnidian’s Standard Operating Procedures and QA/QC program
• Engage in initiatives that support sales and product development
• Generally, 3+ years of practical experience as a solar technician, installer, OEM field service engineer, or a similar role, with a minimum of 2 years in Commercial Solar
• Familiarity with 1000V+ DC systems, 3-phase AC interconnections, and advanced system diagnostics for projects over 500kW
• Typically possesses 4+ years of professional experience in the solar energy sector, or equivalent demonstrated experience
• Proven leadership experience in account management, asset management, operations and maintenance, or field service coordination
• Knowledge of energy storage technologies
• Proficient with solar monitoring DAS platforms
• Ability to interpret system design drawings
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, and CRM systems
• Experience with CRM systems
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and make autonomous decisions
• Sound judgment and appropriate escalation of issues
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing business needs
• Ability to perform well under pressure and de-escalate tensions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• NABCEP certification(s) is advantageous
• Extensive technical knowledge of commercial battery energy storage systems is a plus
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus
