Technical Program Manager, Colocation Service Delivery – Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the delivery and continuous capacity management of intricate, large-scale network infrastructure services obtained from third-party suppliers across the nation.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with technical operations market teams, network engineering, and network acquisition teams.

• Evaluate leased dark fiber, colocation, and bandwidth needs to fulfill new capacity requirements.

• Comprehend the terms of new contracts, including delivery objectives and technical specifications.

• Enhance and develop projects while introducing new technologies to markets and communities throughout the US.

• Promote learning and development within the team.

• Oversee third-party vendor infrastructure delivery through construction, network connectivity, acceptance, and documentation processes.

• Monitor project progress and produce technical drawings and scopes of work.

• Conduct kickoff and regular project status meetings, collaborate with various teams, and escalate delivery risks as necessary.

• Ensure the quality of third-party leased infrastructure documentation and synchronize network inventory with commercial contract inventory.

• Optimize processes and operationalize solutions with cross-functional stakeholders and vendor partners.

• Manage and enhance the portfolio to satisfy ongoing business requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent practical experience.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing and managing network infrastructure programs, vendor management, and the delivery of leased assets, including dark fiber, bandwidth services, and colocation space/power.

• At least 2 years of experience with space/power projects, including build-outs in data centers or third-party colocation facilities.

• Proven experience leading project teams and/or vendor resources while defining and managing success metrics.

• Familiarity with ordering and managing colocation space, including AC and DC power consumption.
