Technical Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Data Center Management and Host/Supply teams to establish a routine for capacity and utilization reviews.

• Identify constraints such as host churn, new capacity, and regional gaps, transforming them into actionable planning insights.

• Manage relationships and escalation processes with host and infrastructure partners.

• Address capacity, performance, and contractual challenges while keeping Engineering and Product teams informed.

• Convert capacity and utilization metrics into tradeoffs related to supply, cost, and reliability.

• Develop and lead project plans that involve Engineering, Product, and Supply stakeholders.

• Define project scope, sequence dependencies, and establish timelines considering partner lead times and hardware deliveries.

• Serve as the main point of contact across various teams, proactively identifying risks and obstacles.

• Ensure stakeholders remain aligned through consistent and clear status updates.

• Assess infrastructure tools, platforms, and vendor products, providing recommendations for solutions.

• Conduct post-program reviews and document lessons learned for future iterations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in infrastructure-centric organizations, with a focus on capacity planning, data center operations, or vendor/partner management.

• Over 4 years of experience or equivalent proficiency in technical program management, leading intricate technology initiatives from inception to delivery.

• Demonstrated success in collaborating with more than 3 cross-functional teams to execute high-impact programs from planning to launch.

• Proven experience working with external infrastructure or hardware vendors on a global scale.

• Strong technical foundation in engineering and scalable SaaS/IaaS products or services.

• Excellent quantitative and analytical abilities, capable of translating capacity, cost, and delivery data into effective planning recommendations.

• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to identify issues before they escalate into blockers.

• Capacity to independently design, monitor, and implement programs in fast-paced environments with multiple dependencies, competing priorities, and strict deadlines.

• Team-oriented mindset that values ownership, transparency, accountability, and follow-through.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Solution-driven and adaptable, comfortable navigating uncertainty and creatively resolving challenges under pressure.

• Currently not in a position to receive employment visa sponsorship.

• Preferred: Previous experience with AI/ML developer platforms, GPU/cloud infrastructure, or environments constrained by hardware capacity.

• Preferred: Experience in an early-stage or rapidly growing startup.

• Preferred: Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
