This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take charge of the comprehensive delivery of intricate technical programs that involve multiple Engineering teams.
• Assist the CTO and Engineering leadership by providing clear delivery reports that detail progress, milestones, risks, dependencies, and decisions that need attention.
• Convert strategic and technical priorities into program plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and measurable outcomes.
• Facilitate collaboration across Engineering, Product, Compliance, and Operations, proactively addressing dependencies and obstacles to ensure resolution.
• Organize technical readiness for significant product launches and releases, identifying delivery gaps and risks at an early stage.
• Lead program planning and delivery reviews, ensuring that decisions, owners, deadlines, and actions are well-documented in Jira and Confluence.
• Manage requirements intake and impact assessments, ensuring that requirements are well-defined and prepared for Engineering planning.
• Maintain clear visibility into the delivery of strategic technology initiatives, including payments, card processing, banking integrations, liquidity, observability, and platform development.
• Promote consistent adoption and ongoing enhancement of Engineering governance, SDLC processes, planning cadence, and operational methodologies.
• Monitor and drive decisions and actions from Architecture, Technical, and Execution governance forums to ensure resolution.
• Over 5 years of experience in Technical Program Management, Technical Project Management, Engineering Delivery, or a related role.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex technical programs across various Engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, system architecture, APIs, integrations, and distributed systems.
• Ability to navigate through technical complexities and convert them into clear plans, priorities, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence Engineering, Product, Compliance, Operations, and senior technical stakeholders without direct authority.
• Practical experience with Jira and Confluence, including program planning, dependency tracking, dashboards, reporting, and governance documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies, with the capacity to adapt delivery practices to the organization's needs.
• Solid understanding of SAFe, including Program/ART-level dependencies, PI Planning, backlog decomposition, and ROAM-style risk management.
• Familiarity with regulated payment environments, including PCI DSS, AML/KYC, or EMI compliance requirements.
• Experience in leading or managing Engineering teams in a product-driven context.
• Background in software engineering, data, or another technology-related discipline.
• Experience with payment processing, money movement, banking integrations, payment providers, card schemes, or cross-border payments.
