This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead early-stage, high-uncertainty programs that encompass generative AI product experiences, innovative interaction modalities, and new discovery surfaces from conception to production.
• Assist in mature, highly collaborative initiatives within Engagement Intelligence.
• Establish milestones, manage interdependencies, and synchronize engineering, applied science, product, and partnerships teams around common objectives.
• Collaborate with external device, platform, and distribution partners regarding integration timelines, technical specifications, and joint delivery milestones.
• Facilitate content expansion into new formats and modalities as Netflix's catalog evolves beyond traditional video.
• Evaluate technology, cost, and business priorities to assist teams in making trade-offs.
• Utilize knowledge of the ML project lifecycle to chart pathways from prototype to production.
• Develop program rituals such as roadmaps, status updates, risk assessments, and launch readiness checks.
• Compose status updates, decision documents, and alignment materials for engineers and senior leadership.
• 8–10+ years of experience in technical program management or similar roles.
• Proven track record in driving multi-team, ambiguous programs at a senior level.
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus and drive decisions among diverse internal and external stakeholder groups without formal authority.
• Ability to operate effectively in high-ambiguity situations and organize 0-to-1 efforts.
• Sound judgment in evaluating technical, business, and cost trade-offs.
• Familiarity with the ML project lifecycle, including online and offline phases, as well as productionization.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to produce clear, decision-ready documents for engineers and senior leadership.
• Preferred experience in generative AI product development.
• Preferred experience with search, discovery, or conversational/voice product programs and external partner coordination.
• Preferred experience in supporting content or catalog expansion into new formats and modalities.
• Preferred background at a consumer-scale company with AI-driven products.
