This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and resolve intricate customer issues from the investigation phase through to resolution.
• Provide advanced technical support for Curam applications and associated technologies.
• Serve as an escalation point for critical customer issues, collaborating with Development, Product Management, and Release teams.
• Analyze logs, technical data, and application behavior to determine root causes and offer recommendations for solutions.
• Communicate clearly and proactively with customers, offering regular updates and managing their expectations.
• Document troubleshooting processes, resolutions, and best practices to enhance both internal and customer knowledge.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance support processes, tools, and customer outcomes.
• Consistently expand expertise in Curam, cloud technologies, AI, and enterprise application support.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide occasional after-hours support.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Java/JEE along with familiarity in technologies such as SQL, XML, XSL, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of relational databases, particularly IBM Db2 and Oracle.
• Experience in troubleshooting enterprise applications, analyzing logs, and debugging complex issues.
• Customer-facing support experience is essential.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of ownership and independence.
• Willingness to engage in on-call support rotations.
• Preferred: Experience with Curam.
• Preferred: Knowledge of cloud platforms and architectures.
• Preferred: Experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, or similar enterprise application servers.
• Preferred: Familiarity with REST and SOAP services and integration troubleshooting.
• Preferred: Exposure to modern development tools and frameworks, including React, Eclipse-based environments, and UML modeling tools.
