Senior Transaction Advisory Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Conduct and support buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for private equity, mezzanine funds, and strategic buyers.

• Examine extensive data sets to develop an Excel data book, focusing on quality of earnings, debt and debt-like items, and net working capital analysis.

• Assess and interpret financial and operational trends of target companies, while challenging assumptions made about the targets.

• Assist in leading sections of due diligence meetings with management from target companies.

• Generate and design customized reports that cover normalized earnings, financial reporting, net working capital trends, and debt considerations.

• Clearly and succinctly communicate due diligence findings in both verbal presentations and written reports.

• Collaborate with teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of products.

• Foster and enhance productive working relationships with client personnel.

• Work in conjunction with other Elliott Davis team members.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years of experience in audit or transaction services is required.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

• Current licensed CPA is preferred.

• Experience with a Big 4 firm, national, or large regional firm is preferred.

• Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• A knack for business development.

• Capability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting issues.

• Proficiency in managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously (multi-tasking).

• Outstanding client service focus.

• Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary.
