This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate outreach and engagement events for external stakeholders.
• Organize protocol-sensitive events, media appearances, and partner meetings both domestically and internationally.
• Oversee venue logistics, manage RSVPs, attendee communications, travel arrangements, itineraries, event materials, and provide on-site event assistance.
• Offer logistical, administrative, and correspondence support.
• Assist in both live and virtual stakeholder and industry engagement events.
• Oversee guest check-in and reception processes.
• Manage audiovisual setup, operation, and support.
• Maintain agenda discipline by keeping track of time.
• Address and resolve issues promptly in real-time.
• Collaborate with facility and IT support staff.
• Lead discovery and planning initiatives through stakeholder interviews, event content audits, assessments, and current-state analyses.
• Convert insights into event management frameworks and actionable strategies.
• Provide advice to clients and shape strategies to help them achieve their objectives.
• Act as a primary conduit for client feedback to the GXG leadership team.
• Proactively execute client initiatives and guide decisions using data and best practices.
• Represent the Granicus Experience Group at industry conferences and workshops, both in the U.S. and internationally.
• Maintain expertise in Granicus products and upcoming platform enhancements.
• Suggest product enhancements based on client requirements.
• Safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of Granicus information assets.
• Ensure the privacy of employee and customer data and complete the necessary privacy training.
• 5-10 years of experience in events management, consulting, digital strategy, user experience, or customer experience, ideally in a government context or with a government agency.
• Strong proficiency in core Digital Communications, Events Management, and Customer Experience skills.
• Experience in external stakeholder engagement is essential.
• Proficient in digital communication tools; familiarity with Granicus products is preferred.
• Knowledge of email marketing, online collaboration, CRM, event management systems, online forms, and social media networks.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills in a client-facing role.
• Proven ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
• Capable of utilizing digital tools, technologies, and trends for client success.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, independence, autonomy, and sound judgment.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and work effectively under pressure.
• Competent in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience or enthusiasm for collaborating with government entities.
• Experience providing support for live and virtual stakeholder and industry engagement events.
• Capability to offer event-day support, including check-in, audiovisual management, timekeeping, troubleshooting, and coordination with facility and IT teams.
• Proficient in leading stakeholder interviews, event content audits, assessments, and logistics analyses.
• Ability to function as a trusted client advisor and feedback conduit.
• Capacity to represent GXG at U.S. and international conferences and workshops as necessary.
• Willingness to become an expert on Granicus products and future developments.
• Commitment to adhering to Granicus information security and data privacy standards.
• No specific degree requirement; Granicus does not impose degree prerequisites for most positions.
