Technical Product Owner – GenAI Delivery, Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of a specific segment of a client engagement, overseeing everything from use case development to backlog management, release, and outcomes.

• Facilitate discovery sessions and workshops with client stakeholders, transforming insights into written scopes that engineers can implement.

• Convert technical limitations into business terminology, and translate business objectives into technical specifications.

• Keep a well-organized backlog filled with sized, technically detailed stories, and lead sprint planning as well as release schedules.

• Quickly prototype using live client data with our delivery stack, which includes Claude, Claude Code, MCP servers, and Skills.

• Collaborate closely with GenAI and agentic AI models, including RAG, agent workflows, and LLM integrations, to assess quality and articulate trade-offs.

• Establish success metrics for your designated scope and provide honest progress reports, including when challenges arise.

• Create reusable artifacts, demos, and documentation to ensure future engagements commence more swiftly than yours did.

• Collaborate with Principal Architects, Forward Deployed Engineers, and account teams across US and LATAM time zones.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of overall professional experience, including hands-on engineering experience as a software, data, or ML engineer.

• At least 1 year in a product, delivery, or client-facing role such as Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, Business Analyst, Delivery Lead, or similar positions.

• Daily engagement with GenAI tools in your workflow, preferably Claude and Claude Code, along with concrete examples of redesigned workflows.

• A working knowledge of GenAI concepts: prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and agentic patterns.

• Proficiency in reading code and technical documentation sufficiently to engage in meaningful discussions with senior engineers.

• Practical experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies: backlog management, sprints, planning, and retrospectives.

• Proficient in written and spoken English at a B2 level or above, comfortable leading client calls independently.

• A self-directed approach by default. You are provided with goals amid ambiguity, rather than a detailed task list, and you take initiative.

• Must be based in Colombia or Costa Rica.
