Staff Product Manager – Technical

📋 Description

• Lead the vision and strategy for intricate, high-impact digital products.

• Establish product operating models, discovery methodologies, and delivery benchmarks.

• Tackle challenging product issues, articulate problems, synchronize stakeholders, and facilitate large-scale resolutions.

• Create success frameworks and leverage data, research, and user insights to guide product trajectory.

• Spot opportunities to enhance product management practices and share insights back with Robots & Pencils.

• Utilize AI tools like Claude to boost efficiency, synthesize research, and enhance product ideation.

• Collaborate with senior leadership and client executives as the primary product advisor.

• Represent product strategy at the leadership level, influencing decisions related to strategy, delivery, and technology.

• Conduct complex stakeholder forums, workshops, and discussions at the executive level.

• Provide mentorship to seasoned product managers.

• Act as the senior product decision-maker for intricate trade-offs.

• Play a role in business development, proposals, and the expansion of the product management practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in product management, particularly in consultative or enterprise environments.

• Proven history of setting product vision and strategy for intricate, high-stakes digital products.

• Exceptional client advisory capabilities and experience influencing at the executive level.

• Extensive experience leading discovery, roadmapping, and delivery within large, multi-stakeholder organizations.

• Proven track record of mentoring senior product managers and shaping PM practices at the team level.

• Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to align engineering, design, strategy, and business initiatives at scale.

• Experience in defining product metrics, success frameworks, and iterative delivery methodologies.

• Familiarity with AI tools that enhance efficiency, research synthesis, and large-scale product ideation, such as Claude.

• Experience in contributing to business development, proposals, or practice growth is advantageous.
