This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.
• Acquire extensive knowledge of Wi-Fi and various wireless standards encompassing hardware, software, and machine learning technology.
• Collaborate with Product and Market Strategy teams to develop messaging and technical positioning that emphasizes customer outcomes.
• Produce technical product content and thought leadership specifically for enterprise clients.
• Conduct live and recorded demonstrations showcasing product capabilities and their use cases.
• Lead the development of web content aimed at enhancing customer understanding, interest, and intent to purchase Cisco Wireless solutions.
• Act as a reliable technical and market authority.
• Assist in go-to-market strategies and demand-generation initiatives.
• Organize complex or unclear projects and facilitate cross-team decision-making and results.
• Promote Cisco Wireless at industry events.
• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Technical Product Marketing, Product Management, Solutions Engineering, Technical Marketing Engineering, Network Operations, or similar enterprise technology roles.
• At least 2 years of practical experience in enterprise wireless networking.
• Proven track record in crafting technical marketing content and demonstrations, including presentations, solution briefs, blogs, white papers, technical guides, or sales enablement resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, Business, or a comparable field, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Cisco Wireless, Cisco Meraki, cloud-managed networking, or enterprise wireless LAN environments.
• Knowledge of wireless machine learning, analytics, assurance, or network-management functionalities.
• Experience in developing unique product messaging and positioning.
• Strong writing, editing, and technical thought leadership experience, with published works.
• Ability to influence product, engineering, support, sales, customer, and creative teams.
• Experience in public speaking at industry events or webinars.
• Experience in supporting enterprise or partner/channel sales initiatives.
