Technical Product Manager – Payments Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the reporting roadmap, which encompasses report schemas and data pipelines.

• Facilitate PI planning by managing epics, story-point sizing, sprint mapping, and conducting confidence votes.

• Oversee cross-team dependencies and negotiate solutions to any blockers.

• Lead the delivery of regulatory and compliance requirements, focusing on fee simplification, fee label mapping, and IFPA reporting mandates.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of technical discussions regarding schema modifications, regression testing, batch uploads, and reconciliation processes.

• Prioritize a security backlog by differentiating between remediation efforts and mitigation strategies.

• Coordinate infrastructure dependencies, including upgrades to Java versions.

• Communicate status updates and trade-offs to legal, compliance, executive, and other non-engineering stakeholders.

• Reimagine and enhance reporting processes through effective structuring, automation, and simplification.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with SAFe or scaled Agile methodologies, specifically in running PI planning, managing epics, and tracking cross-team dependencies.

• High proficiency in Jira, including familiarity with epic structures and dependency tables across various teams.

• Experience in payments, card network processing, or financial settlement systems.

• Background in managing mandate-driven or compliance-focused roadmaps within banking, fintech, healthcare, or similar regulated sectors.

• Knowledge of data or reporting pipelines, leadership experience in BI-related teams, or management of schema changes.

• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple teams and backlogs effectively.

• Familiarity with Claude Code or comparable AI coding tools.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required; alternatively, candidates should have three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible technology work experience for each missing year of college, in addition to the minimum required experience.
