Staff Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and consistently prioritize the roadmap for the Business Technology Services platform across various Business Technology domains.

• Transform vague business requests into a well-defined, sequenced backlog that supports scaling, international growth, and the decoupling of NetSuite.

• Integrate the demand intake for BTS and Workato into a single structured prioritization framework.

• Collaborate with stakeholders from Finance, Supply Chain, Member Experience, Commercial, and Corporate sectors to organize platform demand.

• Manage API contracts, versioning, and integration pattern decisions, including the choice between Workato versus custom builds and sync versus event-driven methodologies.

• Convert technical trade-offs into investment narratives suitable for executive and cross-functional audiences.

• Work alongside Enterprise Architecture to define platform versus domain scope and facilitate the integration of the Databricks data lakehouse/data mesh.

• Assess requirements for MCP servers and AI agents that support the BTS ecosystem.

• Assist in establishing the Integration & Automation Engineering team, covering team structure, recruitment, and the transition from contractor-led to FTE-led delivery.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in technical product or platform management, with a focus on infrastructure, integration, or API platforms rather than customer-facing features.

• Strong technical expertise; proficient in writing or reviewing OpenAPI specifications, event schemas, and contracts.

• Capability to justify build-versus-buy and versioning choices while collaborating with Enterprise Architecture on complex systems design.

• Familiarity with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, and SQS/SNS.

• Hands-on experience with iPaaS/integration platforms like Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar solutions.

• Background in API design, versioning, and contract management.

• Proven experience in translating ambiguous stakeholder requests into clear, actionable requirements.

• Experience managing a platform roadmap that serves multiple internal consumer teams.

• Experience coordinating intake and prioritization amidst competing demands and diverse backlogs.

• Comfort in negotiating sequencing and trade-offs with stakeholders at the Director level and higher.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated use of LLM assistants and agentic build tools such as Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, or Lovable in daily tasks, with a focus on output verification.
