This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, mainly engineering teams, to investigate requirements and develop enhancements to the workflow orchestration platform.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical specifications that encompass system context, data flows, workflows, actions, acceptance criteria, and edge cases.
• Establish and convey a technical product vision, strategy, and roadmap informed by customer research, market analysis, and business goals.
• Develop prototypes, proof-of-concept scripts, and lightweight automation to validate assumptions and expedite decision-making.
• Review existing code, comprehend its functionality, and implement necessary modifications.
• Collaborate with engineering as an embedded team member during design reviews, sprint planning, technical discussions, and pull request evaluations for specification alignment.
• Define product metrics, design workflows, and autonomously extract and analyze data to guide prioritization.
• Convert technical complexity into clear narratives for business stakeholders while translating business context into actionable directives for engineers.
• Decompose large initiatives into deliverable increments as outlined in specifications, ensuring a consistent delivery cadence and early identification of scope or quality risks.
• Conduct customer research, competitive analysis, and stakeholder interviews to shape product direction and pinpoint high-leverage opportunities.
• Proficient in reading, understanding, and writing code.
• Experience in conducting customer research for a technical platform.
• Proven experience in implementing large-scale workflow orchestration.
• Background in managing large-scale enterprise projects.
• Demonstrated track record of successful delivery and execution.
• Experience with spec-driven product strategy and roadmap development.
• Proficient in stakeholder communication and alignment.
• Skills in data analysis and insight generation.
• Ownership of outcomes and realization of value.
• Technical fluency and systems thinking ability.
• Insight into customer needs and market trends.
• Strong cross-functional partnership with engineering teams.
• Relevant professional experience accepted in place of preferred BS degree.
• Over 5 years of product management experience with proven technical depth.
• Experience in authoring technical specifications, engaging with codebases, or contributing to engineering workflows.
• Familiarity with spec-driven or design-doc-driven development processes.
• Code competency, including the ability to read, understand, and review code.
• Knowledge of durable execution platforms like Temporal.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and pull request workflows.
• Experience with SaaS products, APIs, microservices, or platform products.
• Background in data analysis, A/B testing, and experimentation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with delivery management tools like Jira and Confluence.
